I'm a User Experience Designer, which means I make technology easy for humans to use. I focus on user interface and interaction design. I'm from Oxford, UK, and currently live in London. 2011–Present · User Experience Designer at Accenture, presently consulting for a UK government department on user experience and visual design.
2010 · User Experience Intern at Google, working on Android User Experience.
2011 · MSc Human-Computer Interaction, UCL. HCI occupies the space between computer science and psychology. It deals with understanding how people think and work, and applying this to the level of interactions between people and technology. My thesis focused on user-centred identity management. 2007 · BA Design for Communication, Reading University. I learned a huge amount about graphic design, printing technology history, typography and how to design complex texts. I wrote a dissertation on the broadside ballad as an early newspaper.
